REGINE SOPHIA (she/her) is a recent BFA Musical Theatre graduate with a minor in Psychology at Penn State. She is also the recipient of the Golumbic Scholarship Award in Performance Achievement, the Robert E. Leonard Award, the Sue Carson Esprit de Corps Award, and the Fainor Family Award for the Arts in Musical Theatre.

Having lived in Vietnam and the Philippines, Regine channels all her heartwarming memories and cultural experiences into the work she creates. She is a huge advocate of sharing universal stories and using theatre to convey them to audiences across the world. There are not enough words to express her deepest gratitude towards her family, friends, and teachers who believed, supported, and accompanied her every step of the way. She truly believes that she would not be where she is without every single one of them.
Regine is also a growing bookworm, and one of her all-time favorite quotes derives from Mitch Albom’s novel, “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto”:
“The secret is not to make your music louder,
but to make the world quieter.”
Regine believes that Music, Theatre, and Entertainment are such beautiful, influential, and essential platforms in this world. She believes that as theatre-makers, it is our job to not only bring our unique, individual selves to everything we do but embrace our little quirks to make meaningful connections and find common ground when we think there is none.
