REGINE SOPHIA (she/her) is a New York City-based actress and dancer. In 2025, she graduated from Penn State with Magna Cum Laude honors, earning a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Psychology. She is also a recipient of the Reuben & Gladys Golumbic Scholarship Award in Performance Achievement, the Robert E. Leonard Award, the Sue Carson Esprit de Corps Award, the Fainor Family Award for the Arts in Musical Theatre, and the June H. Ford Memorial Award for Musical Theatre Dance Performance.

Having lived in Vietnam and the Philippines, Regine channels all her global memories and cultural experiences into the work she creates. She is a huge advocate of sharing universal stories and using theatre to convey them to audiences across the world. There are not enough words to express her deepest gratitude towards her family, friends, and teachers who believed, supported, and accompanied her every step of the way. She truly believes that she would not be where she is without every single one of them.
Regine is also a growing bookworm, and one of her all-time favorite quotes derives from Mitch Albom’s novel, “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto”:
“The secret is not to make your music louder,
but to make the world quieter.”
Regine believes that Music, Theatre, and Entertainment are such beautiful, influential, and essential platforms in the world. She believes that as theatre-makers, it is our job to not only bring our unique, individual selves to everything we do but also to embrace our little quirks to make meaningful connections and find common ground when we think there is none.
